Install instructions for V4, V6 and V8 engines

Complete water pump kit

  1. Slide water tube grommet into water pump housing
  2. Install guide tube with grommet onto water pump.
  3. Install gasket compound on small 0 ring into water pump housing and install cup.
  4. Glue seal into groove on water pump housing, set aside.
  5. Clean gasket surface on gear  case. Install gasket and plate onto gear case.
  6. Install key and 0 ring onto drive shaft. Slide down drive shaft with 0 ring groove facing down.
  7. Lightly grease housing with soapy water or grease. Do not install dry use a wheel bearing grease.
  8. Slide housing over.
  9. Turn drive shaft in a clock wise direction push down on housing.
  10. Tighten bolts, grease drive shaft splines.
