Install instructions for V4, V6 and V8 engines

Complete water pump kit

  1. Slide water tube grommet into water pump housing,
  2. Install guide tube with grommet onto water pump housing.
  3. Install gasket compound on small 0-ring into water pump housing and install cup.
  4. Glue seal into groove on water pump housing, set aside.
  5. Clean gasket surface on gear case. Install gasket and plate onto gear case.
  6. Install key on to drive shaft.
  7. Push impeller down
  8. Lightly lubricate housing with soapy water. Do not install impeller dry use a wheel bearing grease.
  9. Push the housing over impeller.
  10. Turn drive shaft in a clock wise direction push down on housing.
  11. Tighten bolts, grease drive shaft splines.
